In your browser only: Your files are kept in the storage of this browser only and are not uploaded – no server sees them. They are only there in this browser on this device; if you clear the site data of the browser, they are gone.
- A PGN file (ending .pgn) with games, at most 20 MB. Large files take a few seconds whenever a page opens – smaller files (up to about 5 MB) are recommended.
- Characters of the file name other than letters, digits, “-”, “_” and “.” are replaced by “_”.
- Every name and every file only once – the same file is not loaded a second time.

Progress and backup
Your progress in the courses and the training stays in this browser only, like your PGN files – no server sees it. With a backup file you take everything to another device, or get it back if the browser clears its data. The file stays with you: on your computer or in your own cloud, such as iCloud Drive or Google Drive.
Quickly to another device
Your progress as a link and a QR code: scan the code with the camera of your phone, and the state of every line is there. For PGN files and the mistakes per move take the backup file.
